Hello everyone, and welcome to a getting started with SafeShare tutorial.
Once you have been added to SafeShare you will receive an email that contains instructions on setting up your account.
This email contains a link that may only be used one time.
Click the view shared content button to get started.
This link will bring you to a password setup page. Enter a strong password and click change to save. You may be prompted to set up multi factor authentication either through email or during account set up.
Download a one-time password MFA app on your phone to complete this set up. I recommend Authi or Google Authenticator, but you can select the MFA app of your choice.
You’ll be prompted to select the type of device you’ll be using to complete MFA setup.
Select your device type and click select.
Next, open the MFA app on your device and scan the QR code to generate your MFA token. Enter the token from your device in the authentication code field and click pair to finalise MFA setup.
Once your password is set up as complete, you’ll be prompted to enter details about your account. Fill out this form to complete setup.
Once you have entered details on your account, you’ll see the documentation that you have been shared. If you do not see it simple click the browser refresh button and the information will become viewable to you.
